SSCL experts shortlisted for national HR awards
Two
Shared Services Connected Limited (SSCL) HR specialists have been named as
finalists in the 2020 Wales HR Awards, which recognises and celebrates the
achievements of HR professionals in Wales.
In
addition, SSCL has made the shortlist for ‘Best HR Initiative’ for its
innovative end to end recruitment solution, creating a slick and engaging
online process to recruit top quality candidates. SSCL’s process reduced
the time for onboarding by a massive 93% whilst reducing candidate drop out
rates.
Head of Volume Recruitment Emma Turner was announced as a finalist in the ‘Best
HR Professional - Public/Third Sector’ category, whilst Richard Carter, SSCL’s
Deputy Director of HR Innovation & Change, is up for ‘Best HR Professional
- Digital/IT’.
The
Awards recognise the best HR professionals across a variety of industries –
showcasing the outstanding individuals and teams as the best in HR, learning
and people management practice across Wales in the last 12 months.
David
Parsons, Managing Director for SSCL Police & Resourcing, said:
“To be shortlisted in three separate categories
is a fantastic achievement and reflects the talent that exists within the SSCL
Resourcing Team. It is also well-deserved personal recognition for Emma and
Richard, highlighting the significant contributions they make to our
success.
“We are extremely proud of the high-quality
service we provide to government departments and police forces across the
country. This industry acknowledgement is an endorsement of our
innovative and increasingly digital approach, which is helping to transform
public sector resourcing.”
The
winners will be announced on 27 March at an awards ceremony in Cardiff.
